Challanges
Redesigning the EduHub e-learning platform presented several challenges, including:
- Complex navigation: The existing platform had a cluttered and confusing navigation structure, making it difficult for users to find the courses and resources they needed.
- Limited personalization:
The platform lacked personalization features, making it difficult to tailor the user experience to individual learners' needs and preferences. - Technical limitations:
The platform was built on outdated technology, limiting its ability to incorporate new features and improve performance.
Solutions
To address these challenges, we implemented the following solutions:
- Simplified navigation: We redesigned the navigation structure to be more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for learners to find the content they were looking for.
- Personalized learning paths: We introduced personalized learning paths based on user preferences, interests, and progress, providing a more tailored and engaging learning experience.
- Modernized technology stack: We migrated the platform to a modern technology stack, enabling us to incorporate new features, improve performance, and enhance scalability.
- Gamification elements: We introduced gamification elements, such as badges, leaderboards, and progress tracking, to motivate learners and increase engagement.
- Accessibility features:
We ensured that the platform was accessible to learners with disabilities by incorporating accessibility features and adhering to WCAG guidelines.
